FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before takeoff.

What does the animated fuel platform gauge show?

During refuelling, the platform’s eight-segment gauge fills according to the aircraft’s actual fuel level; green pulses show transfer into the tank. Flow stops when full. The gauge hides after leaving and freezes on pause. It does not show a remaining platform fuel inventory.

How are enemies and fuel balanced in early sections?

In test build 0.22.10, boat and helicopter counts across all 100 sections follow route length and campaign progress. Early fuel is generous, with gradually wider intervals. Bullet speed and firing intervals also follow progression. Opposing aircraft formations are retained.

Does the new Rivunox package transfer saves from the old test build?

Version 0.22.8 uses the Android package ID com.setrox.rivunox. It installs separately from the old com.setrox.riverstrike test app; existing progress is not transferred automatically. Preserve your saves before removing the old app.

How does enemy fire change in narrow island channels?

Boat, helicopter and jet shots are staggered in narrow channels. New shots wait while two threats approach; very close launches are deferred. Projectiles fired before entering the channel are not removed. Broad reaches also use a shared firing interval, allowing two approaching threats in the first 20 sections and three later. Narrow channels retain the two-threat limit. Tank artillery uses its separate ground marker.

Can I pause while the aircraft is crashing?

Yes. The top pause and music buttons remain available during the crash animation. Pausing freezes the animation; resuming continues where it stopped.

Can I download the game now?

Rivunox is in development and testing. It has not yet been released on Google Play or the App Store.

Do I need an internet connection?

The current game is single-player and works offline.

Are there ads or in-app purchases?

Version 0.22.11 has no ads or in-app purchases.

Where is my progress saved?

Progress and preferences are stored in the app’s storage on your device. Each level has its own personal record and medal. There is a local save backup, but no cloud save system. Clearing app data also removes your saves.

Does the weather push the aircraft?

Rain and snow are visual effects. Intermittent fog starts at level 31, and signposted crosswinds begin at level 61. Conditions grow stronger in later levels. The Weather Effects setting hides rain and snow particles; it does not remove the gameplay effects of fog and wind.

When do balloons and jets appear?

From level two, jets enter from alternating screen edges in waves of two and three. Helicopters and balloons also enter from the edges. Balloons do not fire; they can be shot and may cause collisions.

Do fish and birds block the flight?

No. Fish schools swim underwater. At most five birds enter from screen edges in spaced encounters per section; some follow the shore and others cross the river. Both are scenery without collision. Birds fly independently of throttle and braking; pausing freezes their positions and wings.

Can I move my game to another device?

The game does not include a save-transfer feature between devices. Your operating system’s own backup features may also apply.

Can the code-protected test panel affect my saves?

Yes. Choosing a level and flying from the test panel can change this app’s local progress and flight saves. Consider a device backup before testing.
